"A Night Like This "
A mix of old and new songs put into sequence. The waltz, "Honor", written by the same composers as "Band of Brothers", was arranged and written into sequence by Carole.
We particularly enjoyed recording "The Final Countdown" and "Livin' Thing", which have been on our ideas list for many years!
The Blues tracks "Ragtime Cowboy Joe" and "Ooh Wakka Doo" take me back to my school days, as does The Seekers medley, "Morningtown Ride/ Island of Dreams". A time when we all listened to great songs on the radio and years later we still know all of the words. "Love Me For A Reason" as a Rumba is one of my all time favourite songs.
Carole provides vocals on 3 tracks, including 2 new songs from 2011, Imelda May's "Inside Out" as a Mambo and Caro Emeralds "A Night Like This" as a Cha-Cha.
